It's always a pleasure to have our friend Eric Dover on the show! Today we are talking about his latest Sextus EP release “Hello the Mushroom, Volume 1.' This EP has been long anticipated by many fans and it is finally here. Trust me, it was worth the wait. 

We got to chat about relationships, and romance in songs, as well as the power of humour and how connection shapes us. 

Eric never ceases to amaze with the music he releases and this one is no exception! Eric shares insights into his songwriting process and shares the stories  behind these songs as we go through track by track. We spend time throughout this episode reflecting on memories and music, emphasising the open-ended nature of lyrics and the vulnerability that artists express through their work. There’s so much to love about music and this episode is a wonderful celebration of all that makes music special and helps us express ourselves and heal. This leads us to discussing the beauty of imperfection in music and the joy of creative expression. It was a beautiful and insightful conversation as always and I am so happy that we could share it with you today!
